At 31 The Rocks, we are committed to providing a welcoming, relaxing, and inclusive experience for all guests. We understand that everyone’s needs are different and aim to support accessibility across our property wherever possible. Below is an overview of accessibility features and services to help you plan your stay with confidence.

Accommodation Accessibility

Access Information – Villas 1, 2, 4 & 5

  • Villas 1 & 2 are accessed via 6–7 stairs leading up to the verandah.
  • Villas 4 & 5 have a shorter stairway of 3–4 steps.
    • Once on the verandah, all villas feature step-free access throughout the interior, allowing for smooth movement inside.

Access Information – Villa 3

Villa 3 offers the most accessible layout and is well-suited to guests with limited mobility or specific access needs. Key features include:

  • Wider entrance and internal doorways to support mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers.
  • Step-free access to the villa and bathroom, including a walk-in shower with handheld showerhead, grab rails and space for seating support (please contact us to discuss your exact requirements).
  • Height-adjusted kitchen layout to ensure easier access to benches, appliances, and storage.
  • Flexible bedding configuration: King-sized bed can be split into two king singles.
  • Non-slip flooring throughout the living, kitchen, and bathroom areas for added safety.
  • Dedicated onsite parking directly adjacent to the villa entrance.

Around the Property

  • Our private bush tracks are natural surface trails and may not be suitable for those with mobility restrictions.
  • Outdoor seating is available on villa verandahs with level access from inside, the garden gazebo is accessible via a concrete path.
  • Pathways from the parking area to the villa are flat, but consist of compacted gravel, which may be difficult for some wheelchair users.
  • The Guest Lounge is accessible with wide entrance and furniture can be rearranged on request to improve ease of movement and accessibility

  • A live chat widget is available on our website for real-time assistance before and during your stay.
  • Our team is available via phone, email, and live chat to answer any accessibility-related queries and tailor your stay to your needs.
  • An onsite manager is available during your stay to assist to meet your needs.

Hearing & Vision

  • Our villas are designed with good natural light and adjustable interior lighting.
  • Written compendiums are provided in each villa with clear, large-text instructions.
  • Assistance animals are welcome—please advise us when booking so we can prepare accordingly.
